More than April

I'm beginning to see a recurring theme with my once a year posts on blogger and its the date I have posted them on. I haven't gone beyond that date because life and school have taken priority and I also wonder who blogs anymore?. With the social media take over who really blogs for the joy of writing, getting thoughts out , etc?.

I tried for three years now to make this blog a thing while I was out of school and off social media for the summer. I suppose a blog still accounts for social media but perhaps on blogger we can feel less addicted to post by how many likes we get on each one.

Spring has arrived here among the wild flowers and they are all blooming fast with the early onset of heat. It has been very hot here these past few days, and the temperatures are not normal for this yearly in the year. We are still one of the few that have no central heat or air so we use window units in the summer and a fire place in the winter. We love to keep the windows open and let a warm or cool breeze in weather permitting.
With the heat comes glorious thunderstorms that chase the cats under tables and bring me to the window to watch the lightning and rain. I have been told not to stand in front of a window in a thunderstorm but I have yet to research the theory of that yet.
I aspire to reach beyond April 30th every once a year and write more about my journey through art , books, gardens, and more. Happy Sunday

Making Butterflies Fly

One of my favorite times to write is in the morning, and my other favorite time is in the evening. I find it interesting that our bodies have different productivitie time than what is the norm for a work week. I cannot seem to get myself together and working on something effectivly untill around 10 or 11am, and I find myself doing a little better after dinner and working some more between 7pm and 9pm. To bad we cant all set the hours that work best for us like say some shift workers can.
